I know, you are tired of the hats already. I promise this is it for awhile. Micheal wants another hat or two but I'm going to take a little break and move onto other things (like 19 unfinished socks, sweaters and shawls). After the failed star hat for Devon I decided to go back to a trusted pattern that seems to always work. For the longest time this hat appeared to be HUGE. I even emailed Devon's Nanny and got her to measure his head as I was convinced that it was going to big enough for Micheal. However he was out to the house today and it fit perfectly, not that he would leave it on for longer than 0.2 seconds. It did look cute in the fleeting glimpse I got of it on his head.

Pattern: improvised basic beanie hat
Yarn: Zitron Lifestyles
Needles: US#2 metal dpns

Hello Shari, a salute from Rome. Ciao
You're hats are great. I especially like the one you knitted for Michael (the one Mackenzie is modeling). I really want to knit Ava a cute little hat this winter, but don't know where to start. Where's the best place to get a pattern.
I did not know you were from Canada--and here I'm complaining about the cold all the time. And the Walmart sneer--no clue!
wow got beind sorry I love the hats.
Your hats are beautiful! I love checking in to see what you are working on next! Soon we will all be digging our hats out too. It is 45 degrees here tonight!
