Yesterday schools were canceled again (possibly the ninth time? I've lost track) this time due to ice. It changed to rain by midafternoon but the layer of ice coating everything was pretty cool while it lasted. It has dropped to below freezing again today but it is March and I remain hopeful that winter will come to an end, someday.
We went to H&R Block and had our taxes done today. Depressing. Even more depressing than our never ending winter.
Anyone have some good/happy news they want to share? I really need to hear some. Please????

ewll I hate to boast but stop by life is pretty good round here. Keep your chin up I am sure the sun has to cme out soon. I do love a good ice storm it is beautiful what nature can do but I do understand it does get a little old.
Wish I did have good news to share. We are in a "slump" too. Taxes didn't go well here either, I had to pay in! Bitter cold here too, but no pretty ice coating like you have. I know it is depressing, but from the warm window I bet it is beautiful to look at! I love the pics! Your new camera takes wonderful pics!!
I went to Vegas this weekend and saw a show by a Canadian comic, he use to open for Celine Dion I guess. Anyway, he made a couple cracks about how cold it is in Canada and that is why they say the words differently, because they are so damn cold, they cant really open their mouth properly. I immediately thought of you and your never ending winter. I could share some inappropriate stories that are pretty hilarious, but, well, this is a family blog, so just imagine me, some tissue stuck in my nose to stop the drip, and an accident with Vicks Vaporub. Oh, and a yowling hubby, lol. I don't think he'll be bothering me anytime soon. :)
